Local foodie events calendar so folks can know what’s happening at Saporito, Gainesville’s olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting room, including, educational workshops, cooking classes and special engagements.

Saporito OVS is pleased to serve alongside area farmers, artisan craftsmen and other locals on Saturdays at the Haile Farmers Market from 8:30am-noon. Special requests can be brought to Haile and should be made by the Friday by 5pm. Contact us for your particular wishes.

→Tuesday, February 12, 7:00-9:00pm ~ “Valentine Puzzle Hunt

Special plans with your Valentine? Bring yours to Saporito to enjoy a unique evening of fun and special discovery, a game where couples compete to solve a series of puzzles. Light hors d’oeuvres. Reservations required. $14/couple. Register HERE.

Whole food workshop with Garreth Smoak. $24/person. Call 352-395-5193 to register. Learn to make, dress and indulge in three spring salads with seasonal produce. We will be featuring health coach “In the Kitchen With Garreth.”

It is our privilege to announce a new partnership with our neighbors at Gainesville’s well-loved bakery, Uppercrust. Their gourmet, from scratch artisan goods are a perfect match with our fresh extra virgin olive oil and authentic balsamic vinegar. Uppercrust is only a hop, skip and a jump across the street, so keeping them stocked with the freshest crush will be a breeze!
