• 1 cup Saporito Eureka Lemon Olive Oil
  • 1 cup sugar (or sugar alternative)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons hot water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 3 cups flour (your choice)


Preheat oven to 350°. Cream together sugar and extra virgin olive oil (citrus). Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla extract. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter, along with salt. Stir in flour and chocolate chips (and nuts, if desired). Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking pan. Bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are nicely browned.
NOTE:  Persian Lime or Blood Orange Olive Oil are delightful in this recipe, as well. Citrus + Chocolate = AMAZING!
